About Me

Marie Madeleine Lucien

I have been a registered nurse for almost 25 years. I have more than 15 years of experience as a registered nurse in mental health, helping adult patients in crisis. My focus is to listen and work together with patient to move forward. I work with clients from different background who suffer from anxiety, bipolar, depression, trauma related to their daily lives.
During our initial sessions, we will focus intensely on the issues at hand and collaborate to create a plan for addressing them in a way that helps you get your life back. Some clients see a progressive diminishing of symptoms within a few weeks and maintained improvement thereafter.

I use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) in my practice. In your first session, we’ll explore what brought you to therapy and decide the most appropriate ways to help you progress. With CBT, we’ll examine how your thoughts affect your emotions and experiences. During treatment, I’ll help you learn how to resist those thoughts to improve your feelings
